The human side of international careers

International careers don’t only change where people work. They change lives.

Relocation, international assignments and leadership transitions can affect identity, relationships, family life, belonging and career direction - all while employees are expected to continue performing professionally.

I provide individual coaching for international professionals and leaders navigating these transitions.

When the professional transition is also a personal one

An international move may look successful on paper while the person behind it is navigating much more.

A new role.
A different culture.
A partner or family adapting alongside them.
Questions around belonging and identity.
Changing career or family priorities.
The decision to stay, return or make another move.

Coaching creates a confidential space to work through these questions while helping the individual move forward with greater clarity and intention.

Coaching can support employees during

Professional background

I bring both professional and personal experience of international careers and life abroad.

Originally from Germany, I moved to Spain and have built my career across both countries. Having lived and worked internationally myself, I understand many of the transitions that come with creating a professional and personal life outside your home country.

Before becoming a Professional Life Coach, I worked internationally in Talent Management, Learning & Development and Employee Engagement, supporting global organisations and initiatives across different countries and cultures.

This combination allows me to understand both sides of international transitions: the organisational context and the person experiencing the change.

Based in Madrid, working internationally online.
